Tonia Gordon’s career in HR has spanned three decades and includes roles in banking, healthcare and higher education. She held the senior-most HR roles in the non-profit healthcare and higher education organizations she worked for garnering 25 years of managerial and leadership experience.
Most recently, Tonia served as Vice President & CHRO for a college serving approximately 1,000 students. She knows well the demands and challenges facing today’s leaders: tight budgets, competing priorities, constant change, and managing employee engagement & morale. Add that to the work you were hired to do, and today’s workplace is ripe for stress and burnout.
Tonia is on a mission to build healthier workplaces where organizations, leaders and individuals come together to mitigate burnout, so people and business can thrive. She is passionate about developing people and building high performing teams through empathetic leadership, trust and workplace culture rooted in holistic wellbeing.
Tonia holds a master’s degree in human resource management from St. Francis University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is also a “graduate” of the Disney Approach to People Management and Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead facilitator program.
She is a past-President of her local SHRM Chapter, Human Resources Association of the Alleghenies (HRAA), and former member of PA SHRM State Council. Tonia is a professional speaker, founder and President of Re-Imagine HR, LLC.
